The Virtual Reality extension of Energy Encyclopedia presents technically accurate 3D models of energy facilities across five areas: Nuclear Fission, Nuclear Fusion, Solar, Hydro, and Wind Energy.

The new version reflects feedback from the World Nuclear Exhibition 2025 in Paris and features a more intuitive control scheme, suitable even for users with no prior VR experience.

You will learn the operating principles of various types of power plants, including their major components and how they function.

Who is this app for?

This app is designed for anyone interested in the different methods of electric energy production. Robot guide Robbie will help you with the controls and explain the details of all the energy facilities.

What is inside?

It contains gallery room with five different stages to display various scaled-down VR 3D models of power plants and energetic facilities.
User is allowed to enter eight life-size scenes and walk through the power plants in real size.

What is the technology?

Meta Quest is most common virtual reality headset. Energy Encyclopedia VR supports the second and third generation of this affordable headsets.
